What should I do if I need my books and my financial aid has not gone through yet?
There are several options to consider:
- Use an alternative payment method: cash, credit card, or check (must present valid picture ID)
- Setup a NBS Payment Plan
- Check with the Financial Aid Office to see if there are any actions you can take to get your funding sooner
How do I cancel a textbook order?
Orders may be cancelled by phone (651-846-1422) or by stopping into the Bookstore. Please be ready to provide your name, picture ID, order confirmation email, and the reason for the cancellation.
How do I know my textbook order was received?
Once we receive your order, you will receive an e-mail from Saint Paul College Bookstore, confirming the order. If you do not receive an email, your order was not placed successfully and you will need to submit your order again. Please contact us by phone (651-846-1422) with any concerns or if you need assistance.
When can I pick-up my textbook order?
Generally, we process orders within one business day. However, during busy times it can take longer. Once your order is processed you will receive an email that is ready for pick-up or has been shipped.
How do I know when my order is ready to be picked up?
As soon as your order is processed, you will receive an e-mail stating that your order is ready for pick-up or to be shipped. Please allow one business day for your order to be processed. During busy times it may take several business days before your order is processed.
Do I need anything to pick up my order?
Yes, you must have a picture ID, and the textbook order confirmation email.
Additionally, if you are using financial aid to purchase your books you must provide the email from Tuition Office stating your approved book charging limit.
What does it mean when my book(s) are placed on backorder?
The book(s) ordered are either out of stock or we have not received our shipment from the publisher. You will receive an email when the book(s) have arrived and your order is processed.
Where can I return textbooks?
All textbook returns or exchanges must be completed in the Bookstore within five business days of the sale. You must have your receipt and picture ID. Please see complete Return Policy for specific details and restrictions on returning and exchanging textbooks.
Why was my order cancelled?
- We received a phone call with directions to cancel the order
- The textbook requested is no longer available
- Your financial aid book charging form was not approved at the time the order was placed
- Your credit card was declined when processed
Please contact the Bookstore immediately if you think an error has been made regarding your order.
Can someone else (friends/family) pick up my textbook order?
Yes, if payment is made by credit card and the person's name is entered into Pick Up Name field during checkout.
If payment is made by a Financial Aid Book Charge, then only the student can pick-up the order. Please note: A photo ID is required to pick up the order! All required documents must be presented by student, including: order confirmation email, and if payment is made by a Financial Aid Book Charge, the email from Tuition Office stating your approved book charging limit.
